[Notebook on wool manufacturing processes]. 1841-1844.

Notebook, ca. 1840, includes information on sorting and scouring of wool, oiling, carding, sizing, weaving, etc. Gallup indicates that "these observations extracted from Wm. Partridge's treatise on manufacturing broadcloths and cassimeres, May A.D. 1828." Also included in collection is Gallup's personal account book, 1841-1844, in which he lists cash he received for work, social events attended, etc. He also notes two people who left for Lowell, Mass.
